Question 1

What is KJSEA?

Accepted Answer

KJSEA (Kenya Junior Secondary Education Assessment) is the national Grade 9 assessment under Kenya’s Competency-Based Education system. This website is an independent exam-preparation resource that shares free revision materials and premium 2026 prediction papers to help candidates prepare for it.

Question 2

Are you affiliated with KNEC?

Accepted Answer

No. We are an independent preparation platform and are not affiliated with or endorsed by the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC). Our prediction papers are independently prepared by our team and are not official KNEC examination papers.

Question 3

Who are your materials for?

Accepted Answer

Our materials are designed for Grade 9 candidates sitting the KJSEA, as well as the parents, guardians and teachers supporting them through revision.

Question 4

What is the difference between free and premium materials?

Accepted Answer

Free materials include past papers and general revision resources that anyone can download at no cost. Premium materials include our 2026 prediction papers, full worked solutions and marking schemes, which require a one-time M-Pesa payment to unlock.

Question 5

How do I download a free material?

Accepted Answer

Open the material from the Materials page and use the download option provided — no payment or account is required for free resources.

Question 6

How do I unlock a premium material?

Accepted Answer

Open the premium material you want and enter the phone number you’ll pay with. You’ll get an M-Pesa prompt on your phone — enter your PIN, and the material unlocks automatically the moment payment is confirmed.

Question 7

How is my M-Pesa payment verified?

Accepted Answer

Payments are verified automatically. When you pay, you’ll get an M-Pesa prompt on your phone — once you enter your PIN, our payment processor (Paystack) confirms the payment instantly and your material unlocks right away, with no waiting on our team.

Question 8

I paid but my status still shows pending. What should I do?

Accepted Answer

This is usually just a few seconds of processing time — refresh the Check My Status page using the phone number you paid with. If it’s still pending after a few minutes, or if money was deducted from your M-Pesa without your material unlocking, contact us via the Contact page or the KJSEA WhatsApp Group with your phone number so we can look into it.

Question 9

I entered the wrong phone number. Can this be fixed?

Accepted Answer

If the M-Pesa prompt didn’t reach the phone you intended, simply try again with the correct number — no payment is taken until you enter your PIN. If you did complete a payment from the wrong number, reach out to us through the Contact page or the KJSEA WhatsApp Group and our team will help resolve it.

Question 10

Do you offer refunds?

Accepted Answer

Because premium materials are digital and are unlocked immediately once payment is confirmed, we generally do not offer refunds once access has been granted. If you were charged in error or a material was not delivered as described, contact us and we will review it on a case-by-case basis. See our Terms & Conditions for full details.

Question 11

How can I get help or ask a question?

Accepted Answer

You can reach us through the Contact page or join the KJSEA WhatsApp Group, where you can ask questions and get updates alongside other candidates.

Question 12

Is my personal information kept private?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We only collect the information needed to process payments and deliver materials, such as your phone number, which is shared with our payment processor, Paystack, to confirm your M-Pesa payment. See our Privacy Policy for full details on what we collect and how it is used.
